My Tavor

The first day I saw a bullpup rifle, I wanted one. Love at first sight!

I chose the Tavor since it is one of the few bullpup rifles that can be configured for left hand shooting, and it is the only one of that category available in Canada. It is also non-restricted.

I do not pretend to be an expert on the Tavor, this is what I know about it. Do not hesitate to contact me (lt at ltwerner.com) with corrections or additional information.

Introducing the Tavor

The Tavor type distributed in Canada is the TAR-21. It uses a closed bolt, with rotational bolt locking, and unlocking by gas impact on a piston head. For the civilian market, it is configured for semi-automatic fire only.
